Our Social Media Maven takes the 20 Habits That Will Make
You Highly Successful, by Chad Howse, to heart and relays how she has utilized
them so far.
Team Success
The Ask Gina & Company crew, based in
Ashburn, VA, is all about bonding with our teammates and encouraging each
other’s success. In our last team meeting, our fearless leader, Gina Tufano, lead
us through the 20
Habits That Will Make You Highly Successful by Chad Howse and relayed
how the habits could benefit our personal and professional lives. I want to
focus on numbers 3, Wake up at the same time every day, and 10, Wake up early. I
am not a morning person. I love coffee, become irritated when the neighborhood
dogs wake me up, and believe that there would be no war if everyone could just
get a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, I’m already addicted to two cups a
day, want PETA to like me, and don’t know the sleep habits of Hitler to justify
my theory. Even in the midst of all of this adversity, I have managed to wake
up at 8:00 the past several mornings (ok, three mornings…. These things take time).
While Howse’s list interprets early as before 6:00 am, everything is relative
and I have managed to accomplish more than I am used to in a single 24 hour
cycle. NOVA always seems to have events taking place and my extended hours of consciousness
over the weekend allowed me to meet new people in my community, participate in Loudoun
culture (drink wine), and learn of future events. These activities and their
positive side effects are motivation for me to continue on my quest for
success. This Wednesday, October 9th, Lost
Rhino Brewery in Ashburn, Virginia is hosting a charity night for Loudoun Habitat for Humanity
and because I plan on attending, I will
be sure to wake up at 8:00 am, or earlier, so that I can accomplish that day’s
goals before the event takes place.
AGC is
continually striving to apply the 20 habits to our lives for our own benefit,
as well as for the benefit of those around us. We wake up early because we want
to check everything off of our to-do lists, including making sure that we do
everything in our power to satisfy those who seek assistance from the Ask Gina
& Company real estate gurus. Let us know how we can help you by calling (703)574-3478 or visiting Ask-Gina.com.
