It stands for Renew, Energize, and Donate and it is a day that dedicated Keller Williams Realty agents give back through various projects that directly impact the communities they serve.

Keller Williams Realty Loudoun Gateway will be spearheading two worthy projects here in Loudoun County. The first is a blood drive with the American Red Cross. We are looking for at least 40 willing and generous people to donate the gift of life! If giving blood isn’t your cup of tea,then maybe eating is! The second project we are undertaking is teaming up with the fantastic Not Your Average Joe’s restaurant in fabulous Lansdowne! The funds raised will go towards the Run Me Home race which benefits Loudoun County Foster Care. It can’t get any better than that!

The Brad Kaminsky Foundation, an Ashburn based non-profit and StayClassy’s Charity of the Year for 2010, is once again hosting the 10th Annual “Heroes of Hope” Golf Tournament. The event is fast approaching and your generosity is needed to help find a cure to brain tumors!

The tournament will be held on April 30th at the Lansdowne Resort and will include golf, a silent auction, and dinner. Sponsorships are in need as are donations for the auction. On June 4th, the Good Shepherd Alliance Church will be hosting an Old Tyme Country Fair at the Loudoun County Fair Grounds in Leesburg from 11AM until 6PM to benefit the homeless population in Loudoun County.

Did you know that in 2010, there were 381 sheltered homeless people in Loudoun County? Of that, 212 were adults and 169 were children. The Good Shepherd Alliance Church strives to help those in our community who are affected by homelessness and over 1400 individuals have benefited from their services.

So mark your calendars and head on out to the Old Tyme Country Fair for some fun, food, and fellowship while helping those in your community who are in need.

Natasha Barrett, ABC 7/WJLA-TV and TBD TV reporter will be the Mistress of Ceremonies while Jennifer Griffin of Fox News will be the keynote speaker and is a recipient of the Inspire Award. Dr. Michael Schultz, Director of the Breast Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s Medical Center will also be receiving the Inspire Award while Michelle Tull Bynum will be honored with the KM Warrior Award.
