This week in Potomac Falls, we take a break from the warm weather and get another chance to wear our jackets and rain boots.

Monday, April 23^rd- Showers and wind will plague our Monday with a high of only 44 degrees and an overnight low of 40 degrees. Recessing back into winter weather is NOT how we want to start this week!

Tuesday, April 24^th- Coming back into spring, we will have partly cloudy skies, a high of 60 degrees, and a low of 40 degrees. It’s supposed to be windy so to be sure to break out that jacket!

Wednesday, April 25^th- The temperature continues to rise (hopefully not along with your stress level) under partly cloudy skies with a high of 64 degrees and a low of 50 degrees.

Thursday, April 26^th- A few showers will pass through the area with a high of 65 degrees and a low of 45 degrees. The weather won’t exactly offer you any positive motivation to get through the day, but tomorrow is Friday!

Friday, April 27^th- Mostly cloudy skies with a high of 63 degrees and a low of 47 degrees will end our work week. Make sure to make those dinner plans as tonight will mark the first prom in Loudoun County.

Saturday, April 28^th- The weekend will start out great with mostly sunny skies and a cool high of 64 degrees and a low of 46 degrees. It will be a great day to spend some time out in the sun!

Sunday, April 29^th- The heat will return with partly cloudy skies and a high of 71 degrees and a low of 47 degrees. This looks to be the start of another heat wave hitting Loudoun County.

In Potomac Falls, the big question lately has been, “What is going on with this weather?” Will spring finally show itself or was that Groundhog right about 6 more weeks of winter?  This week, prepare to feel the warm spring days with cooler nights.

Sunday, April 15^th:High of 85 degrees and a low of 61 degrees with a 30% chance of AM showers that should taper off in the afternoon. Sounds like it will be good day to get outside and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Monday, April 16^th: A mostly sunny day with high of 88 degrees and a low of 61 degrees. Needless to say, the A/C will need to be on and the windows will need to be rolled down! The pollen count will also reach “Very High” levels today.

Tuesday, April 17^th: Partly cloudy with a high of 75 degrees (a nice change from Monday!) and a low of 52 degrees.

Wednesday, April 18^th: A possibility of a few showers with a high of 65 degrees and a low of 49 degrees. The coldest day of the week; definitely remember a jacket before leaving for work in the morning.

Thursday, April 19^th:Partly cloudy with a high of 72 degrees and a low of 52 degrees; a nice and cool day to get through before Friday!

Friday, April 20^th: A lovely partly cloudy day (because even a few clouds cannot interfere with Friday) with a high of 77 degrees and a low of 56 degrees. Reward yourself for working hard all week with an early evening stroll around the neighborhood. 

Saturday, April 21^th: Unfortunately, there will be a little bit of rain on our weekend parade. Scattered thunderstorms are predicted throughout the day, leveling out to showers by the evening with a high of 71 degrees and a low of 48 degrees. Be sure to stop by Dominion High School’s Health Fair from 11am-1pm!

*The tree pollen count has been at the “High” level this past week and will continue to be high throughout the next week. Make sure if you’re taking that allergy medication!

This post is a bit out of the box – so please forgive me as it is not real estate related. Ask Gina & Company will be participating in the April 15^th WalkMS in Reston and we would love your support!

As some of you know, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004 and have been pretty lucky through the years as it has remained rather mild. 2011 proved to tell a different story. It was, and still is, a rough road for me and I need to do something about it! I am participating in my first ever walk and formed a team “FMS”. Our goal is to raise an obscene amount of money in a short period of time and be able to lead the way to finding a cure for MS. I am thrilled to have my Ask Gina & Company family with me. The festival will feature Bluegrass Band of the Year “Lonesome River Band”, as well as “Big Chimney,” “The Hot Seats,” and the “Chance McCoy Band!” The day will also be jammed packed with contests, fabulous BBQ, kids’ shows, workshops, open jam sessions, and more!
