Celebrate Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve Day on Sunday, Sept. 20th

Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve is home to over 200 species spread across a 725+ acres of a vast rolling countryside including parts of Goose Creek, local forests, fields, and multiple streams & ponds.

On Sunday, September 20th, the Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve will host an Open House from 11am-3pm and include many family-friendly activities and interactive demonstrations of:
  • Hay rides
  • Guided archaeological tours & nature walks
  • Bird-banding & monitoring
  • Stream monitoring
  • Live amphibians & reptiles
  • Native vs. Invasive plants
  • Rain Gardens
