Giving Back After Giving Thanks


Yesterday was wonderful for so many of us. We were able to spend time with family we love, friends we adore, and food that seemed to go on for miles. Thanksgiving is a needed reminder to count our blessings and remember those who have not had the same good fortune.

Last weekend several Loudoun County families were affected by a fire that took place at The Reserve Town Center apartments in Sterling. It is hard to imagine having to start over again, but these families are having to do just that. Basic necessities we take for granted each day are now in demand to help those victims move on and start rebuilding their lives. If you would like to donate, below is a list of requested donations and drop off locations:

Gift cards: Target, Walmart, etc.

Material goods: new or in gently used condition

Clothing: Women’s size 6/medium, Men’s clothing size 32 waist, men’s winter coat size XL, men’s pants size 36X30, men’s exercise pants/shorts size XL, men’s socks (new only), men’s underwear (new only) size 36 or XL, girls clothing size 2/small shirt/size 6 shoes, boy’s clothing size 30 waist/medium shirt
