Ashburn Schools – Light at End of the Tunnel

Ashburn Schools – Light at End of the Tunnel

While we all know Ashburn is a fabulous place to call home, school overcrowding has been of some concern for the past several years. Well, there is now light at the end of the tunnel! That’s right, Loudoun County Supervisors just announced that a new high school will be built on 46 acres at the National Conference Center located just off Belmont Ridge Road!

A vote for a $172.6 million bond referendum will be held November 8th and if approved will help finance and equip the new Ashburn Area High School, as well as several other Loudoun County Public Schools including: the new Moorefield Station Elementary School, the Ashburn Area Elementary School, the new Ashburn Area Middle School, and renovations to Park View High School. So stay tuned – lots of great progress being made in Loudoun County!
