All female Loudoun County residents over the age of 14 are welcome to participate in the 32nd Women's Self Defense Workshop hosted by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. In the class, women will be taught how to better pay attention to their surroundings and learn how to protect themselves from becoming a victim of sexual assault through hands on demonstrations of defense techniques. Participants are asked to wear gym attire and athletic shoes.The event will be held at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy in Ashburn on Tuesday, October 20th from 7-10pm.
